The Hanscom’s, Dean's and Vance’s attend Grace Fellowship Church in Costa Mesa, CA. where their church raised funds for a container of wheelchairs! Thank you Grace Fellowship! It is great to see families serve together and young people have the opportunity to experience being the hands and feet of Jesus.

The Wheeler’s are from Houston, Texas and have been supporters of Free Wheelchair Mission for several years raising money for chairs as well as awareness in their community.

Tana Seufert worked with her church, Gold Coast Christian Church in Oxnard, CA. to raise enough money to finance 150 wheelchairs and was the winner of the FWM Peru Sweepstakes Contest. Tana is co-leader of the Disability Ministry at Gold Coast. She had a daughter who was disabled and needed a wheelchair for most of her 21 years of life. She can’t imagine how her family’s life would have been impacted without the use of a wheelchair.

The Rubio’s, formerly of Irvine, CA. now reside in Prescott, Arizona. They have participated in numerous mission trips for Free Wheelchair Mission to Peru, Chile and El Salvador. It is their joy to serve God and the people of Peru on behalf of FWM.

July 9, 2013 – A Day of Preparation for Tomorrow and the Day After!

Like an orchestra experiencing a crescendo, we are feeling the momentum of our trip growing; an amazing distribution of 100 chairs to Comas will happen in two days where people in need of mobility will arrive from nine surrounding provinces. This morning we drove to a warehouse in Ate where we extracted the exact wheelchair boxes needed to haul to Comas – 68 Generation Two and 32 Generation One. A truck met us there and we loaded the boxes of chair parts and chairs, drove for an hour and unloaded them in a giant room. There they sit overnight waiting in neat piles for us to arrive tomorrow morning with our tools for assemblage. Our anticipation is growing and we can only imagine the magnitude of each recipient’s anticipation. Our group is strong, energetic, and synchronized in harmony, well aware that none of this would be possible without God as our conductor.
